With humble beginnings, the Al Sadek Group was started in 1969, involved in the manufacture of aluminum products. In the following years, with the generous support of the Governments of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, Al Sadek was able to establish themselves as one of the premier manufacturing industries in the UAE.

The company became the pioneer in the introduction and manufacture of a range of products including water heaters, traffic signs, venetian blinds and vertical blinds in the UAE. Constantly seeking niche markets, it was in 1975, that the flagship company, Al Sadek Industrial & Trading Co. LLC started production of plastic bags.

Today, the company has evolved into the UAE's foremost manufacturer of polyethylene film-based products for industrial and consumer applications and flexible packaging. Over the years, the company's output has burgeoned over ten-fold, and is today equipped with the latest technology and sophisticated machinery. Al Sadek's success can be attributed to the approach of keeping a finger on the pulse of the market and an ability to foresee future demand.

To cater to the demands of a growing domestic and international market; Al Sadek Plastic Industrial Co. L.L.C with the support of the Ajman Government, is in the process of setting up another unit in Ajman to produce fine quality polyethylene film based products. Our Ajman facility will be operational by the end of 2001.
